Your organization encompasses various positions tailored to its unique needs and vision. It is crucial to ensure that the roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and effectively communicated. While some responsibilities may intersect, it remains essential for executives to have a comprehensive grasp of their specific roles within the organization. Please find below-detailed expectations for each executive position.

2. Vice President
  • Assist the president in their duties and assume their responsibilities in their absence.

  • Collaborate with other officers to plan and execute events and initiatives.

  • Coordinate with the treasurer to develop and manage the organization's budget.

  • Support the president in maintaining communication with members and promoting member engagement.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the president.

3. Treasurer
  • Manage the organization's finances and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Create and manage the organization's budget, ensuring responsible allocation of funds.

  • Collect membership dues and handle financial transactions.

  • Assist in fundraising efforts and seek out potential sources of funding.

  • Provide financial reports to the organization and ensure transparency in financial matters.

4. Senator

  • Represent the interests and concerns of the student organization within the university's student government or senate.

  • Attend senate meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making processes.

  • Communicate with the organization's members to gather their opinions and feedback on relevant issues.

  • Report back to the organization on senate activities and keep members informed.

5. Diversity Organization Coalition Representative (DOC)
  • Serve as a liaison between the student organization and the Diversity Organization Coalition (DOC) or similar entities.

  • Represent the organization's interest

  • Collaborate with other diversity-focused student organizations to promote inclusivity and diversity on campus.

  • Share relevant information and resources with the organization's members.

  • Work towards creating a more inclusive and welcoming environment within the organization and the university community.

  • Promote events to the organization's members and the wider campus community.
